Trainee Doctors

We are proud to be a training practice and regularly have junior doctors attached to our practice. These are fully qualified doctors who are doing hospital or general practice training before they become specialists.

Occasionally, they may sit in the surgeries with regular GPs – you will be asked for consent for them to sit in. Please let reception know if you prefer to see your regular GP alone.

Advanced Nurse Practitioners

All minor illnesses can be seen by our Advanced Nurse Practitioners. They are able to prescribe and can deal with a whole host of issues from pains to infections and everything in between. They are unable to deal with mental health issues.

We run a Minor Illness Clinic most days with our Advanced Nurse Practitioners. They are able to prescribe medicines and can be prebooked in advance. The following ailments can be dealt with and the appropriate medicines prescribed, where necessary. Please note this list is NOT exhaustive and you may wish to consider booking with an ANP in the first instance as you will be given a 50% longer appointment time.
